This is quite bizarre, and will definitely lead to problems down the road. The original Sucho actually features TWO lock in positions (the only figure to do this, as far as I’m aware,) whereas the Mega Dual Attack Sucho has NO lock it points at all. For some reason, Mattel opted to change the lock in points for the legs. The tail is also re-sculpted to include a curve at the end. The head seems to be slightly larger than the previous iteration. Both work very well, and are great play features. It also adds a secondary action in the form of a tail strike. This new figure trades the snapping for a more simple bite. However, it has been changed in several key ways, the foremost being the new “Dual Attack.” The previous version did a simple head Bob with a jaw snapping action. This newly released version, at first glance, is only a simple repaint. It’s one of my favorites in the entire line. The Mega Dual Attack Suchomimus: I absolutely love the original blue version.
